What a typical charge costs
Below is the cost of one charge from 20 to 80 percent at the median tariffs of 0.78 GEL on DC and 0.65 GEL on AC.

How it is calculated
The formula is one step: battery capacity times the share you are adding, then the kilowatt hours times the tariff. The only complication is that fast chargers slow down sharply above 80 percent, so the time estimate is optimistic beyond that point.

How do I calculate charging cost?
Multiply battery capacity by the share you are adding, then multiply the kilowatt hours by the tariff. A 60 kWh battery from 20 to 80 percent is 36 kWh, which at a 0.78 GEL DC tariff comes to 28.08 GEL.
What is the current tariff in Georgia?

Why does the real receipt differ from the calculation?
Two reasons. The energy that reaches the battery is always slightly less than the charger draws, since some is lost as heat. And some operators bill separately for occupying the bay after charging ends.
